Citing labor rights, manufacturing, the automotive industry and more, Rep. Sandy Levin, D-MI, wrote a detailed op-ed in which he slams the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal for leaving too many issues up for chance.
“The Administration likes to say that TPP offers an opportunity to renegotiate NAFTA, but we are still far from that goal. Our negotiators shouldn’t be rushing to finish the deal while these very important issues remain unresolved.”
Rep. Levin is a Ranking Member on the Committee of Ways and Means.
